Margaret (Margy) was born to Joe and Carolyn Meyer. She was raised on her family's farm in central Pennsylvania along with her sister Nancy and two brothers, Barry and Denny. While being raised on a farm can be a hard life, it provided her with a strong sense of family, values and work ethic. The love of family and friends has always been very important to Margy.
Margy has been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Aprille and Meredith. Aprille fell in love with her husband Brad as they rock climbed together in Boulder, Colorado. Meredith met her husband Knut while on an internship in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Both Brad and Knut have become such members of the family that they feel like sons to her.
Margy's first grandchild came into the world in April 2007. Meredith and Knut had a beautiful baby boy named Bekan. Margy thoroughly enjoys every minute she has with Bekan. They can get very silly together and definitely have many laughs. They have a very special relationship and she looks forward to future grandchildren.
Her current health condition prevents Margy from working and participating in many of the activities she enjoys. These activities include hiking, traveling, riding horses, sailing with her brother Barry; and, yes, she has even tried rock climbing with her daughter, Aprille. The activities which Margy can still enjoy are sending video mails to her grandson, walking, yoga, reading, learning new things, watching movies, sewing and needlework. Even with these activities, her greatest joys are spending time with family and friends.
