Crossing Michigan for Margy
Margy's son-in-law, Knut Hill, is currently raising money for her bone marrow transplant by crossing the State of Michigan on foot, a distance of over 200 miles. Like Margy's battle with cancer, crossing Michigan is a long, arduous journey that requires strength and endurance. Much of the crossing is spent alone, in the cold, without knowing how steep the next hill is or what lies around the next turn. Knut's trek leads him from one great body of water (Lake Huron) to another (Lake Michigan). Similarly, if our prayers are answered, Margy's transplant will allow her to regain her healthy body and live a full life.
In taking on this challenge, Knut encourages you to please make a pledge towards Margy's vital transplant fund. View this video about Knut's journey and read his Top Ten Reasons for wanting to do this for his wife's mother.
